Step By Step Towards
The Howza Summer Program
 
Application Procedure

Complete the Summer Application Form.

A non-refundable fee of $25 ($40 Late Application fee)
to be accompanied with the
application form.
w
An official transcript of student’s high school/college or an
authorized photocopy of his/her most recent degree to be sent to the Howza
Office.
x
Send two recommendations.
 Completed application forms must be
received preferably by 15th of April and at the very latest by 25th
of April 2004.
Applicant may apply for
Scholarship and Discount.
Admission Procedure

A writing test (this include very general questions) is required in
order to be accepted into any program.
z
An interview with the Faculty member of the Howza is required in order
to be accepted into any program.

Notification of acceptance
will be announced by May 15, 2004.

The complete summer program fee of $3125 is due to the Howza Office upon
receipt of an acceptance letter. The payment depends on the following options:
r Full Package (Umra, Study in
Iran, Tour in Iran: $3125)
r
Study in Iran Only: $1450
r
Umra Only: $1850
The full payment is due not later than
May 15.
Notification of final
acceptance will be announced by mid- May .
Trip Procedure

Students accepted to Summer Program are required to submit the following
documents to the Office of Howza:
• Signed Release - this form will be
distributed after acceptance.
• Copy of the photo page of the
Passport
• Copy of the Visa(s) [if the
applicant himself or herself applies]
• Copy of the Flight Itinerary [if
the applicant purchases]
• Two Passport Photos - photocopies,
scanned images, and candid snapshots will NOT be accepted
• Medical Form - this should be
completed by your family physician and mailed to the Howza Office.
Fax copies will not be accepted.

Attendance at all pre-departure orientation sessions as required by the Howza.

Additional Academic Requirements and/or Special Instructions may be listed in
the specific program descriptions.
NOTICE: Imam Mahdi Seminary (Howza)
reserves the right to modify or cancel any program.
